The hours I have spent looking at morgans are with-out numer...believe me there is VERY little that is average about this vessel..you go inside...and you feel like you just stepped into a VERY plush fifth-avenue N.Y. apartment .... and i have NEVER been on a boat that small...that even came close to my partichular comfort level of what makes me feel warm&fuzzy......It's just a well preserved boat that's near flawless and VERY pleasant to live aboard.....Well... as it turns-out for short periods only...the constant moving.........at any rate she's just beautiful..inside&out. Ok look...if your a broker....or a buyer/seller type...I have receipts for the new upgrades/replacements. Electronics include new chart ploter from ray marine,radar wind and depth, New bottom paint, new ray marine auto pilot, new outback solar system with (3) New 180 watt solar panels linked to a new 2800 watt inverter, new lazy jacks, new mask steps, new davits, new BBQ, new stereo in and out, Kiak, also new west marine rigid bottom 10 feet dinghy with 25hrs on new 9.9 mercury outboard, The teak was just redone seven months ago when everything new was purchased and installed APPROXIMATELY $30,000+in upgrades/replacments.We bought and set the boat up with every intention of traveling and living on board throughout the winter.This vessel has been loved and well cared for...and it shows!!!... the interior is beautiful with a large aft cabin and two full bathrooms. Ceiling height is 6' 4" or better. If you cant standup straight in this boat... I think your out of luck! Asking price is $80,000...a servay was done in 2002. If I split the hair...there are 2 faullts (1) the main sail is stretched (2) there is a $100 water pump that pressurizes the freshwater system that is in unsatisfactory operating condition.The motor is a four cycl perkins, beam is 13.7 draft is 5-1/2 with a shoel keel. Freshwater holding tanks carry 200 gallons...there are two septic tanks with an unknown capacity.Photos were taken at time the upgrades/replacements were being done.Last but not least... no 1 to our knowledge has ever smoked in this boat with the exception of the cockpit........We are motivated to sell. After living on a boat 4+months for the 1st time.....let me put this way...loosing abunch of weight was not in the picture when we departed and yet played a rather large part in our final decision making process...It was kinda fun..but we are offically done. I have the option of listing with a broker for around $115,000 (give or take a pinch) and having to wait till around spring to finalize some kinda deal...or do an owner listing now at $80,000 on various websites and drop the price $1000.00 every five days or so till it sells.Look for yourself there are 100's of morgans for sale a few key strokes away on the internet.You will quickly discover this boat is more then resonably priced for a quick sale. I have considered paying for the airline ticket for any SERIOUS potential buyer to go see the boat....in addition i would consider paying for a new servay as well. I feel anyone who has a clue about morgan boats will see the value in no time at all...and i don't believe i will have to pay for more then 1 airline ticket... to me it's a safe bet.. based on the boats condition and pricing. If you find a better deal i would love to see it. And for you brokers out there that think they can sell this boat for me in 30+ days or so...DO IT!!! I do not mind how much you can make off this deal just sell it because i could really care less.
